Chivane | Smart Platform Connecting Users to Nearby Stores & Restaurants
Chivane is a location-based online ordering platform designed to connect users with the nearest stores and restaurants in their city. Through this system, users can search for nearby vendors either through a list-based interface or directly from an interactive map and place their orders quickly. The platform focuses on providing a fast, reliable, and user-friendly ordering experience. Customers can choose from verified sellers, select their preferred payment method (cash on delivery or online payment), and share feedback after receiving their orders. A real seller rating system and community-driven suggestions help users identify the best and most cost-effective options. From a technical perspective, the project was built using a modern web and mobile architecture. The web frontend is developed with Nuxt.js using SPA/SSR capabilities to ensure high performance and smooth user experience. The backend is powered by Laravel, which manages APIs, authentication, order processing, vendor management, and rating systems. Additionally, a cross-platform mobile application was developed using Flutter to deliver a consistent and high-performance experience on both Android and iOS devices.

CHALLENGE
The primary technical challenge was the real-time management of location-based data and live inventory synchronization. Building a structured API to serve Nuxt and Flutter simultaneously while minimizing server overhead required advanced database optimization and caching strategies in Laravel. Additionally, implementing an interactive map with real-time filtering on the frontend posed significant state management complexities.
